SATAMAHULINAT – A CELEBRATION OF THE COMMUNITY OF J\u00c4TK\u00c4SAARI <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

The Port of Helsinki’s values – safety, reliability and community involvement – guided the conceptualisation of a free outdoor event for the whole family. The Port Hulida was born to create encounters between the port, its partners and local residents. To Do was involved in planning and producing the event from start to finish for several years. <\/p>\n\n

OBJECTIVES & SOLUTIONS<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

\u2714 Strengthening community spirit<\/strong>\u2192 The event brought together residents, businesses and port stakeholders for a relaxed city event.<\/p>\n\n

\u2714 Presentation of the port’s activities<\/strong>\u2192 The port<\/strong> and its partners were present to give the audience an insight into the background of maritime logistics and the development of the region.<\/p>\n\n

\u2714 Entertaining and varied programme<\/strong>\u2192 Popular artists such as Anssi Kela, Kasmir and Teflon Brothers<\/strong> were seen on stage, and there were activities for children both on stage and in the audience.<\/p>\n\n

\u2714 Raising the profile of local players<\/strong>\u2192 Interesting food operators, microbreweries and local businesses were brought to the event to enrich the overall experience.<\/p>\n\n

\u2714 5000 visitors<\/strong> in the best year ever<\/strong> – popularity grew year by year!\u2714 Turnkey implementation<\/strong> – To Do was responsible for everything from the social media to the area leveling and program planning.\u2714 A well-established<\/strong> neighbourhood event for years<\/strong> – a community-oriented and highly anticipated day in J\u00e4tk\u00e4saari.<\/p>\n\n
