SATAMAHULINAT – A CELEBRATION OF THE COMMUNITY OF JÄTKÄSAARI
The Port of Helsinki’s values – safety, reliability and community involvement – guided the conceptualisation of a free outdoor event for the whole family. The Port Hulida was born to create encounters between the port, its partners and local residents. To Do was involved in planning and producing the event from start to finish for several years.
OBJECTIVES & SOLUTIONS
✔ Strengthening community spirit
→ The event brought together residents, businesses and port stakeholders for a relaxed city event.
✔ Presentation of the port’s activities
→ The port and its partners were present to give the audience an insight into the background of maritime logistics and the development of the region.
✔ Entertaining and varied programme
→ Popular artists such as Anssi Kela, Kasmir and Teflon Brothers were seen on stage, and there were activities for children both on stage and in the audience.
✔ Raising the profile of local players
→ Interesting food operators, microbreweries and local businesses were brought to the event to enrich the overall experience.
PORT DUES IN FIGURES
